May 4, 2010 In the morning workmen with masks, gloves and hardhats scraped debris from the material they had coated on the building--sending particulate matter into my apartment. That afternoon they began coating the building with a second substance that smelled much worse than the peel-away, and I was so nauseated I had to leave. On May 5th, they continued working with this substance, which was brown and syrupy. The workmen were were wearing protective breathing masks, gloves, hard hats and googles. After breathing this in for five minutes I felt so sick I had to leave my apartment again.
